Please check your device settings once again by following the steps below if your board and device won't connect.
- Is your Bluetooth on?
GRANBOARD and app connect via Bluetooth. Make sure it is turned on.
- Did you accept all of the access requests when you first time opened the app?
The app needs to access some of the features on your device such as location in order to use Bluetooth. If you have dismissed the request(s), Bluetooth cannot function. Please make sure all requests have been accepted.
- Is "Location Services" enabled on your device? (Android OS 10 or later only)
To use the Bluetooth function of the device, the location information service of the device must be turned on.
- Does your device support Bluetooth4.0 or later?
Please contact your device manufacturer for the specifications.
- Did you attempt to manually pair?
GRANBOARD and device will connect automatically when app is open. If you try to manually pair, it interrupts the auto-connect process. Please delete pairing settings if you tried manually paired.
The following procedure as well may help improve the Bluetooth connection error.
For GRANBOARD3/3s users:
If you still experience the Bluetooth connection error even after trying out the above solutions, following reasons may be causing the issue.
1. You are using both micro-USB power supply and AA batteries at the same time.
If you currently using AA batteries, please remove them and try using only micro-USB power supply. If both power supplies are installed, it may cause LED emission issue / Bluetooth connection issue.
2. Your USB power adapter cannot deliver enough amps.
USB power adapter with more than 1.5A is required in order to use GRANBOARD3/3s properly. (2.4A is recommended) If the adapter delivers not enough amps, it may cause LED emission issue / Bluetooth connection issue. Also, if you using multiple port adapter with an up to 2.4A total output, the amps will be divided when multiple USB is in use. in this case, it may cause symptoms because of low voltage.
Ex: Total output 2.4A, two ports are in use.
2.4 divided by two, and it outputs 1.2A to each port.
